Select either only the object types to be locked, or in addition also the filtering properties of the object type.
Select the object types in the list box of the dialog box in one of the following ways:
Select one object type by clicking the left mouse button.
Select several object types by holding down the Ctrl key and clicking the left mouse button.
Select all the object types on the list by clicking the All button or by pressing Ctrl+A.
If you lock object types in the middle of a function selected from a button menu, the list will show only the object types to which the function can be applied.

Filtering by properties
In addition, you can limit the objects to be selected by properties, when you select one or more of the following object types in the list box:
Hatches
Dimensions
Texts
Lines
Click the button at the top right corner of the dialog box to expand the dialog box and to be able to select the filtering properties. The filtering properties are determined by the object types you have selected in the list box at the left side of the dialog box. The properties, which are common to the selected object types, can be selected at the right side of the dialog box. The table below presents the filtering properties according to the object types.

You can filter objects by one or more properties. Select the value of the filtering property from the lists, or select the properties of an existing object with the Select button.

Select the values of the filtering properties by clicking an object with the desired properties in the drawing. The properties of the selected object will be refreshed in the dialog box. You can still edit the values by selecting a new value from the lists or by clearing a value from a text field with the Delete key.
Clear
Clear all the text fields.
When you want to filter objects only by the object type, click the button in the dialog box to extract the filtering properties. Next time you use the filtering properties, they will have the last selected values.
