Add Corner Trims to All Corners
- Do either of the following:
- Select Trim Boards >
Wall Corner Trim.
- Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu, and select
Trims > Wall Corner Trim.
- Click the All button above the status bar. If you cannot
see the button, stretch the bottom edge of the Vertex window
downwards.
- Add the corner trims on both sides of the corner. Select the
function from the contextual toolbar:
- Select the cross section of the corner trim.
- Select whether the corner trims are to be added to exterior
corners, interior corners or both. Select one of the following from
the contextual toolbar:
- You can select the length of the corner trims by clicking,
define the corner trims to reach the roof, or select the default
height defined in the project parameters for them. Select one of
the following from the contextual toolbar:
- Define the height of the corner trims according to the selected
method.
- Select height: select the start and end point.
- Stretch corner trims to roof: select the Confirm
function. The program automatically stretches the corner trims of
all corners to the nearest roof. The start point of the corner
trims is automatically the bottom edge of the exterior siding of
the wall.
- Default height: select the Confirm function.
Note
- You can change the corner trims by defining a component change
rule. Select components of the type Corner Trim to be
changed. Alternatively, you can define the change operation of
corner trims by using the component type Profile.
- The object type of the corner trims is Eave and Wall
Trims.
