Editing the Architectural Rafters Library

The presets of architectural rafters added to open eaves are stored in the Open Eaves Rafters library. You can edit the presets as follows:

1. Select System Settings > Building Component Libraries > Component Libraries. The Component Libraries database view opens.
2. Select a component library. Move the cursor to the following row:

   open_eaves | Standard Open Eaves

   Use the Up and Down arrow keys.

3. Click the Edit Library button. The Architectural Rafters on Open Eaves dialog box opens.
4. Edit the fields of an existing row or create a new preset by copying or adding a row to the database, see Editing Vertex Databases.

   The parameters of architectural rafters are explained in the Architectural Rafters on Open Eaves Dialog Box section.

5. Confirm by clicking OK.
6. Close the Component Libraries database view by clicking the OK button.

• System Settings is only available on the toolbar if you are a system administrator.
