Edit a Roof Slope

You can edit the height of the roof, the pitch of the slopes and other roof parameters by editing the roof slopes. You can change the material of the roof only if the method of representation of the roof is packed basic volume, and detailed method of representation has not been selected for the structure in the 3D model with the Expand Layers function. If you want to edit the height of the roof, select all the slopes of the roof to be edited.

1. Select Roofs > Edit Roof Slope.
2. Select the slopes whose parameters are to be edited. Select several slopes with the Ctrl key pressed down. Click the slopes close to the eave whose height has been defined when adding the roof.
3. Select Confirm.
4. Edit the parameters in the database view.

• Alternatively, you can select the function from the context-sensitive menu:

  1. Select roof slopes with the Ctrl key pressed down. Click the slopes close to the eave whose height has been defined when adding the roof.
  2. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
  3. Select Edit Roof Slope.

• When the side eave of a roof has been fixed to a wall with a dimension constraint which has the Controls eave height property, you can move the roof vertically by editing the roof parameter Over the Wall Height / Butt Cut.
