Cut a Profile With Plane

This function can be used to trim a profile to a surface in the model by cutting the profile end with the surface. Several profiles can be trimmed to the same surface.

1. Select one or more profiles.
2. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
3. Select Cut With Plane.
4. Select the surface to which trimming is to be performed.

Note

• You can select a surface through another surface as follows:
  1. Move the cursor over the surface, which you want to select through.
  2. Press the W key. The program will make the nearest surface transparent. Keep pressing the W key until the desired surface is visible.
  3. Click the surface.
