Type the text in the Text editing window of the Text dialog box. You can select the action of Enter key yourself in the following way:
Special characters
Click the button, when you want to add a special character to the text. Select the character in the Select characters dialog box, for example Ø, °, ± .
Superscript
Click the button and type the superscript text in the Text window.
The superscript mode stays in effect. When you want to continue typing normal text, click the Normal button.
Subscript
Click the button and type the subscript text in the Text window.
The subscript mode stays in effect. When you want to continue typing normal text, click the Normal button.
Normal
Restore superscript text or subscript text to normal text by clicking the button.
Underline
Click the button and type the underlined text in the Text window.
The underline mode stays in effect. When you want to continue typing normal text, click the No underline button.
No underline
Restore underline text to normal by clicking the button.
Previous texts
When the cursor is in the Text window, you can restore previously added texts into the window by pressing the F8 key. You can browse 25 latest added texts. You can browse texts in the opposite direction by pressing Shift+F8.
Line break
Add a line break to the text with a keyboard shortcut:
Add a line break by pressing Enter when the Only (Ctrl+Enter) generates new line checkbox is cleared.
Add a line break by pressing Ctrl+Enter when the Only (Ctrl+Enter) generates new line checkbox s selected.
Only (Ctrl+Enter) generates new line
Select the checkbox, if you want to add a line break by pressing Ctrl+Enter, and close the dialog box with the Enter key or OK button.
Clear the checkbox, if you want to add line break by pressing the Enter key, and close the dialog box clicking the OK button.
Automatic number increment
If the text to be added contains numbers, such as part number text or reference line text, you can define an increment, which is automatically added to the next number. For example, the increment can be 1 or 0.1.
The increment may also be negative, in which case the program deducts the given increment step from the number to be added (until reaching 0). If the text to be added is two-figure, for example 10, the previous number is 09, 08 etc.
After the first number is given, the program automatically adds the increment step to or deducts it from the next number.
Return after add
When this checkbox is selected, and you have selected the Automatic number increment, the dialog box will be always opened after selecting the position for a text.
