Setting an Obliqual Ruler

A cursor can be set to move parallel to a selected ruler. The ruler can be set as active during drawing.

When activating a ruler before drawing a line, a point through which the ruler passes must be given. You can also define its location by typing coordinates. After defining the location, click the direction point through which the ruler will pass. You can also enter the angle instead of the direction.

The ruler can be activated during drawing, even if points have already been clicked. Then the ruler will pass through the last clicked point. The direction of the ruler is set by the direction point or angle. The ruler is active before drawing until two points are clicked, and during drawing until one point is clicked.

  1. Select Set obliqual ruler.
  2. If you select a ruler function before drawing a line, click the position (point) of a ruler which the ruler passes through.
