Symbol

You can add a symbol to a drawing. First select the directory in the browser, then click the appropriate symbol in the image menu, containing thumbnails of the symbols.

1. Select the Read Symbol function.
2. Double-click the thumbnail of a symbol.
3. Click a location for the symbol in a drawing.
4. Stop using this function with the Esc key.

Note

• You can change the symbol size in a drawing by selecting the symbol, and then select the Properties function on the toolbar. Enlarge the size of the symbol by increasing the value in the X-scale field.
• You can save your own symbols under the directory symbols of the Vertex Viewer software. You can create own symbols using the Vertex G4 14 Mechanical Engineering Software.
