Defining a View in a Drawing

When a project is open, you can set the model view by defining the location of the view point and viewing direction in the 2D drawing. The view is a perspective projection.

1. Activate the drawing window.
2. Select View > View 3D from the menu bar.
3. Select the location of the view point.
4. Select the direction.

The model window will activate and the model will be set in the defined view.

Note

• The default values for the view point height, inclination and viewing angle are displayed in prompts on the status bar.
• Restore the visibility of the entire model by selecting one of the projections in the Projection menu.
