Opening a Flat for Editing

You cannot edit a flat project in the main project, but you need to open it for editing using a separate function. Open a flat project for editing as follows:

1. Select Townhouse Application > Open Flat for Editing.
2. Select the flat to be edited.
3. Select the method of editing, and enter an id for the new flat project, if necessary.

   Open Flat for Editing

   The program will close and save the active project and open the flat project.

4. Select the drawing-model pair to be edited from a button menu.
5. Make the changes.
6. Save the flat project by selecting File > Save.
7. Restore the changes by using the Restore Edited Flat function.

Note

• You cannot close the flat project or open other projects before you have restored the edited flat project using the Restore Edited Flat function.
