Saving a Project under a New Name
You can save the active project in the project archive under a
new name as follows:
- Select File > Save Project As.
- Type a new label in the Project id field. The label can
be a maximum of a 13-character long alphanumeric string. In the
label, the following characters are allowed:
- the letters: a-z, A-Z
- numbers from 0-9
- special characters: underscore (_)
- You can type a descriptive name for the project in the
Name field. The name is not obligatory.
- Select a saving location for the project from the Store
In list. The program will gather a list of all of the ms_volume
definitions in the ../user/SETUP setup file for which there is a
Projects folder in the defined path. The default saving location is
defined in the ../user/SETUP file under the keyword project_ms. The
keyword value should be an ms_volume definition.
Note
- When you are mirroring a building with wall panel drawings, you
can select to save the project under a new name before
mirroring.
- During saving, the program will automatically check whether
there are overlapping macros in the project. If overlapping macros
are found, the program will display an error message and asks the
user to select the Check Macro
Interference function in order to locate and remove them.
- When a project, model or drawing is saved, the system
automatically checks the integrity of the object model. When the
model is checked, it is possible to fix the errors that may occur
in the models created with previous program versions, for example.
If the model contains errors, they will be listed in a dialog box.
Close the dialog box by clicking OK, after which you can choose
whether to fix the errors or not.
