Position to grip point
The grip point is located at the end of the center line. Select any of the snap functions:
Snap to point
Snap to
line and point
Snap to all geometry
Move the cursor near the grip point. Note the cursor's snap to the grip point:
If necessary, zoom the model to see the grip point. Select the grip point.
Positioning to center line
Select either of the following snap functions:
Snap to
line and point
Snap to all geometry
Move the cursor over the center line. Select the center line.
Position to face
You can position a component by its grip point to a face you select from the geometry surrounding the component. Select the snap function:
Snap to all geometry
Select the face.
