Defining Comparison Between Option Groups in the ± Database

The Model Set database includes the information of the different option groups whose material quantities are to be compared. Usually the material quantities of option groups are compared to the so called BASE group, which is the base model of the building. The material database of each option group has been created, when the options have been presolved.

1. Select Option System > +/-BOM > Option Groups for +/- BOM.
2. You can add the presolved option groups to the database by clicking the Update button.
3. Define the comparison between option groups in a database view.

Status

Select the groups to be compared by selecting an X in the Status field.

Order

The order number is used to sort and organize the list of option model groups. Type a unique number for each group.

Group name

The option group label. The label of the default building model is BASE.

Description

Description of the option group.

Compare to set

Type the name of the option group you want the quantities to be compared to. For example, if you want to compare the material quantities of the model set to the default building model, type BASE in the field.
