Master Set Drawing Sheets
Define the drawing sheets of a master set based on option
combinations in a database view. If the database is empty, first
add a row with the Edit > Add Row Before or Edit >
Add Row After function on the menu bar of the database
view.
When you start using a master set based on option combinations,
move the templates folder containing the template drawing sheets
from the project's opt_sheets folder to the MS folder.
Creating a New Drawing Sheet
- Select Option System > Master Set >
Master Set Drawings.
- Click the New button.
- Select the template sheet.
- Type the sheet name in a text box, for example Elevations. The
program creates a drawing file named Elevations_1.vxp in the MS folder under the project folder. The
drawing file is opened in the workspace.
- Fill in the information about the drawing in the text
fields.
- Close the database view by clicking OK.
The drawing sheet you created remains open and you can add
elevation views or other drawings on the drawing sheet with the
function Adding a Drawing on a Sheet.
Opening an Existing Drawing Sheet
- Select Option System > Master Set >
Master Set Drawings.
- Use the arrow keys to move the cursor to the desired row (Arrow
up or Arrow down).
- Click the Open button. The selected drawing sheet is
opened in the workspace.
- Close the database view by clicking OK or
Cancel.
The drawing sheet is opened in the workspace and you can now
edit the sheet by adding and removing elevation views or other
drawings.
Copying a Drawing Sheet
- Select Option System > Master Set >
Master Set Drawings.
- Use the arrow keys to move the cursor to the desired row (Arrow
up or Arrow down).
- Click the Copy button. The program copies and renames
the selected drawing file in the MS
folder under the project folder. It renames the drawing file using
a suffix _#, where # is the next available number. For example,
if you copy the drawing Elevations_1.vxp, the program copies the file
and renames it as Elevations_2.vxp.
- Fill in the information about the drawing in the text
fields.
- Close the database view by clicking OK.
The drawing sheet you copied is opened in the workspace and you
can now edit the sheet by adding and removing elevation views or
other drawings.
Deleting a Drawing Sheet
- Select Option System > Master Set >
Master Set Drawings.
- Use the arrow keys to move the cursor to the desired row (Arrow
up or Arrow down).
- Click the Remove button. The selected drawing file and

Renaming a Drawing Sheet
- Select Option System > Master Set >
Master Set Drawings.
- Use the arrow keys to move the cursor to the desired row (Arrow
up or Arrow down).
