The LOGHOUSE setup file may contain the following keywords connected with the dimensions of a log.
The maximum length of a log. For example:
max_log_length= 6000.
When you close the log work drawing, the program warns you about the logs exceeding the maximum length, but the logs are not cut.
First, remove the keyword defining the length distribution of logs, see Keywords Connected with the Automatic Cutting of Logs.
If a below notch is to be automatically added to a log, the crossing wall must cut the log with this minimum dimension. For example:
min_clip_hgt_for_notch= NET_HEIGHT/3
where NET_HEIGHT is the log riser defined in the profile library.
The directive minimum length of a log. The minimum length is used to prevent short logs from being generated, for example between two openings that are close to each other.
The minimum thickness of a notched log at an opening. If the thickness is under the minimum, the log is cut entirely at the opening.
