Log wall to roof slope

Select the method of moving log walls or log beams in the dialog box.

1. Select the line onto which the top edge of the log wall or beam is to be moved. Select one of the following radio buttons:
   • Slope

     Move a log wall or a beam so that its top edge is positioned on the line determined by the selected fixed wall and the selected pitch. Type the pitch as a ratio in the text field. This ratio should be a decimal number.

   • Click roof to get the slope value.

     Move a log wall or beam so that its top edge is positioned on the line determined by the selected fixed wall and the pitch of an existing wall. When you have selected the movement direction and exited the dialog box by clicking OK, select the roof in the model or the floor plan, depending on which work window was active when you selected the function.

     In the drawing window, you can only select a roof that was added to the active drawing-model pair. If the roof was added to a different drawing-model pair, select the roof in the model window.

   • Move log beam between walls. Click another wall.

     Move a log wall or a beam so that its top edge is positioned on the line determined by the height difference between the selected fixed wall and the selected wall. When you have selected the movement direction and exited the dialog box by clicking OK, select the second wall in the model or the floor plan, depending on which work window was active when you selected the function.

2. Select one of the following radio buttons as the movement direction:
   • Move walls in horizontal direction.

     Move a log wall or a beam horizontally so that its top edge is positioned on the line selected above.

     

   • Move walls in vertical direction.

     Move a log wall or a beam vertically so that its top edge is positioned on the line selected above.

     

   • Move walls in vertical direction. Moving step is net height.

     Move a log wall or beam vertically so that its top edge is positioned as close as possible to the line selected above, determined by the tier height of the selected fixed wall.

     

   • Move walls first in vertical direction and then in horizontal direction.

     First move a log wall or a beam vertically so that its top edge is positioned as close as possible to the line selected above, determined by the tier height of the selected fixed wall, then move it horizontally so that the top edge is positioned exactly on the line in question.
