Log House Work Drawings

Log Schedule

You can create a part list with drawings of the log profiles in a project by using the Log Walls > Advanced > Log Schedule function.

The function collects all the profiles which have a label and a log work drawing from all the log walls, and generates part drawings of them. Several part drawings can be presented in a single drawing file. The log numbering system is global: similar logs in different walls get the same part number and one part drawing is created of them. The drawings are saved under the project in the Pieces folder.

Labels in accordance with the part drawings are added for the logs in the log work drawings. These labels replace the ones defined in the LOGHOUSE setup file.

The part drawings are created based on a template drawing located in either ../custom/picts (customer fitting) or ../system/picts (basic software delivery) folder. The file name is defined in the system settings under the LOGS pce_schedule_set definition, for example:

pce_schedule PCPIC.TEMP LOG.TEMPLATE

You can open the part drawings from the project's document browser.

  1. Open the branch Structural drawings / Piece drawings.
  2. Double-click a piece drawing label.

If you wish to delete the part numbers from the log work drawings and restore the labels defined in the LOGHOUSE setup file for the logs, do the following:

  1. Open the log work drawing.
  2. Select Selection Filter and the object type Labels.
  3. Select all the part numbers by pressing Ctrl+A.
  4. Press the Delete key.
  5. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
  6. Select Move Log Labels.
