Minimum Heights of Automatic Machinings
You can define minimum heights for the following types of
machining:
- WALL_TO_WALL - Machinings between intersecting walls.
- CORNER_TO_WALL - Machinings at wall intersections.
- OPENING_SIDE - Machinings on the sides of openings.
- SYMMETRIC -
Define the minimum height by adding a MIN_HGT parameter for the
machining. You can add the parameter by editing the machining
library.
- Select System Settings > Building Component
Libraries > Component Libraries. The Component
Libraries database view opens.
- Move the cursor on the row LOGMACH_SYSTEM Log Wall
Machinings.
- Click the Edit Library button. The Log Machining Macro
Components database view opens.
- Select the Machining Data tab of the database view.
- Move the cursor over the row of the desired machining. The
machining type displayed in the Automatic field must be one
of the following:
- CORNER
- OPENING_SIDE
- SYMMETRIC
- Select the Parameters tab of the database view.
- Enter a value for the MIN_HGT parameter in the Additional
Parameters field. You can define the minimum height, for
example as follows:
- MIN_HGT=3h - Minimum height is 3 x log riser.
- MIN_HGT=600 - Minimum height is 600 mm.
- Close the Log Machining Macro Components database view by
clicking the OK button.
- Close the Component Libraries database view by clicking the OK
button.
Note
- System Settings is available on the toolbar only if you
are a system administrator.
- You can also define the minimum height for the OPENING_SIDE
machining type in the Rule 2 field on the Machining
Rules tab. This minimum height will be used only if the
machining does not have a MIN_HGT parameter.
- The program will save the changes made in a user-specific
database. If the database is not found in the Custom folder, it is
first copied from the System folder. Confirm the copying by
clicking Yes in the message box.
