Changing the Project of Documents
This function can be used to move an archived drawing or a model
and its drawings to a different project. The revision data and
files of models and drawings, as well as the thumbnail images, are
moved. It's possible to move all documents from an assembly model
or only the selected documents. If necessary, create a new project
before the change.
- Select
3D Modeling > Change Project of
Documents.
- Select the source project from which you wish to select the
documents to be moved and accept the selection.
- Select the documents to be moved.
Selecting a model also selects all drawings related to it.
- Select the target project to which you wish to move the
selected documents and accept the selection.
- The program notifies you that the move is finished. Click the
OK button.
Note
- When a document you wish to move is active in the working
window, you must close it before the document can be moved to the
target project.
- An assembly model can be modeled from archive models, which
belong to different project. If you have selected models and you
will accept the move of the whole assembly, which means the whole
assembly with all models, the models belonging to different project
will also move to the target project. If you prevent the move, the
selected documents will only move to the target project.
