Creating a Panel Stacking Diagram
You can create a panel stacking diagram of the panels in the
drawing-model pair in a separate drawing window. An optimal stack
is created from the panels. Before creating the panel stacking, you
need to generate the panel drawings. You can create a panel
stacking diagram of the panels in the active drawing-model pair or
of all panels in the entire project, or you can select the panels
that you wish to add to the panel stacking diagram. The exterior
and interior walls are added to stacks of their own.
- Do either of the following:
- When you want to create a panel stacking diagram of all the
panels in the drawing-model pair or in the building:
- Select Classic Wall Panels > Panel Stacking
> Panel Stacking.
- Click either of the following buttons in the message box:
- This drawing
- Entire building - By default, the wall panels on
different walls are added to the same stacking diagram.
- When you want to select the panels to be added to the panel
stacking diagram:
- Select Classic Wall Panels > Panel Stacking
> Modify Stacking.
- Select the panels.
- Select Confirm.
- If necessary, type the number of the first panel stacking
diagram, or the prefix and number of the stacking diagram label
separated by a space. The naming of stacking diagrams is defined in
the system settings, see Naming of
Stacking Diagrams.
The program will generate the stacking diagrams, which will be
displayed in separate drawing windows. The program will save the
panel stacking diagrams in the project folder or a subfolder under
the project folder. By default, the exterior and interior wall
panels are presented in stacking diagrams of their own.
Note
- Wall panels on different floors are added to stacking diagrams
of their own, when the keyword StackFloorsSeparate= 1 is defined in
the WALLS keyword group.
- The subfolder in which the drawing files are saved, can be
defined in the WALLS keyword group using the keyword
StackingFileSubDir.
- You can later open the diagrams by using the
Classic Wall Panels > Panel Stacking >
Open Panel Stacking Drawing function.
