Panel Lengths to Floor Plan Drawing
The lengths of wall panels can be added to the floor plan
drawing when you generate panel breaks. The length can be a nominal
length determined by the panel breaks or the actual length
according to the panel attributes, that is the same as the length
of the bottom plate. The nominal length can be added to the floor
plan drawing when generating the panel breaks. The actual length is
updated on the floor plan drawing after the panel drawings have
been generated.
Using this function requires that the wall panel settings be
edited. Editing the settings is the system administrator’s
task.
Actual length to floor plan drawing
In the settings, adding the actual length of a panel to a floor
plan drawing is defined as follows:
- Select System Settings > Wall Panels >
Automatic Execution.
- For the keyword OBJECT_MODEL, select the value 1 from the
Exec list. Use the keyword data specified in the Data
field. If the field is blank, type the value 1 into it.
- For the keyword MARKPANELLENGTHS, select the value 1 from the
Exec list. Type the value ACTUAL in the Data field.
- Using the data, you can also select which dimension is added to
the floor plan drawing and where the dimension will be placed in
relation to the panel label. You can define the location of the
dimension in relation to the center point of the wall by entering
the data DX = distance from the center point in the X axis
direction, DY = distance from the center point in the Y axis
direction. Separate the data with commas.
If you do not use location data, the dimension is placed in the
panel label.
Note
- You can deactivate this feature by selecting 0 in the
Exec list.
Nominal length to floor plan drawing
In the settings, adding the nominal length of a panel to a floor
plan drawing is defined as follows:
- Select System Settings > Wall Panels >
Automatic Execution.
- For the keyword MARKPANELLENGTHS, select the value 1 from the
Exec list. Type the value 4 in the Data field.
- Using the data, you can also select where the dimension will be
placed in relation to the panel label. You can define the location
of the dimension in relation to the center point of the wall as
described above or define it in relation to the label. The
dimension will be placed below the label when you type the data in
the format: distance from the label,BELOW. If the distance is
negative, the dimension will be placed above the label.
The dimension will be placed to the left of the label, when you
type the data in the format: distance from the label,LEFT. If the
distance is negative, the dimension will be placed to the right of
the label. Separate the data with commas. If you do not use
location data, the dimension is placed in the panel label.
Note
- You can deactivate this feature by selecting 0 in the
Exec list.
- System Settings is only available on the toolbar if you
are a system administrator.
