Adding a stair space

This function can be used to add a bay, which has walls and a floor or a ceiling, to a building. You can add a bay to an attic that has been added using the Tube Tool, for example.

Select the wall to which you wish to add the bay, and then select the start and end points and the offset of the bay. The points selected will be the points forming the inner surface of the frame in the bay wall. After this, you can select the floor or ceiling to be extended to the bay walls. The wall and ceiling or floor materials used in the bay will be the same as those of the structures selected.

  1. Select Trusses > Advanced > Add Stair Space.
  2. Select the wall.
  3. Select the start point.
  4. Select the end point.
  5. Select the offset.
  6. Select the ceiling or floor.
  7. Select the Confirm function.
