Input Order of Structures when Adding a Truss Area

By default, the main steps of adding a truss area are performed in the following order:

1. Select Trusses > Add Common Trusses.
2. Select the truss parameters.
3. Select the upper limiting structures.
4. Select the lower limiting structures.
5. Select the truss line points.
6. Select the support structures.

You can change the input order by adding the keyword set.trussinput.order= 1 in the user/SETUP file. The truss line points will then be clicked before the upper and lower limiting structures. This reduces the need to switch the active working window between the drawing and the model windows. The input order will then be as follows:

1. Select Trusses > Add Common Trusses.
2. Select the truss parameters.
3. Select the truss line points.
4. Select the upper limiting structures.
5. Select the lower limiting structures.
6. Select the support structures.

Adding Common Trusses
