Trimming a profile
You can trim a piece to any line in a panel drawing. When you
select the edge line of another piece as the reference line, the
program will mark the entire piece as selected, but the piece will
be trimmed to the line selected.
- Select
Wall
Panels > Panel Elevations > 
Trim
Profile.
- Select the reference line.
- If necessary, you can determine the distance between the end of
the piece to be trimmed and the reference line by using the OFFSET
function. Type the offset value in a text box.
- Positive offset - The end of the piece goes over the reference
line for the length of the offset.
- Negative offset - The end of the piece is left short of the
reference line for the length of the offset.
- Select the piece to be trimmed. You can select several pieces
to be trimmed to the same reference line one after another.
- Select the Confirm function.
