Adding a Profile Code to a Wall Panel Drawing
Wall panel components have labels in the panel drawing, based on
which the component data can be found in the parts list. In
addition to the labels, you can add profile codes for each
component in the panel drawing. Define a separate dimension type
for the code in the Automatic Dimensioning Settings database
(WMEAS_SETUP). Then enable the feature detail-specifically in the
Pieces of Frame Details database (DET_PROF).
- Select System Settings > Wall Panels >
Automatic Dimensioning. The Automatic Dimensioning Settings
database view opens.
- Add a new row to the database, and fill in at least the
following fields:
- Page 1
- Dimension - Enter a description for the dimension in the
field, for example Profile Code.
- Distance - Defines the distance (mm) of the text's local
origin from the centerline of the component. Enter, for example, 50
as the value.
- Page 2
- Name - Enter ELEV_NOTE_TEXT2 in the field.
- Confirm by clicking OK.
- Select System Settings > Wall Panels >
Framing Detail Parts. The Pieces of Frame Details database view
opens.
- Add the following definition in the Description field of
the desired details:
ELEV_NOTE=#SC#
If the Description field already contained other definitions,
separate the definitions from each other with the vertical bar
character (|).
- Confirm by clicking OK.
Note
- System Settings is available on the toolbar only if you
are a system administrator.
