Importing 3D Model as a Drawing in the 2D Window

This function can be added a 3D model as a drawing in the 2D window. The image is not a model projection or a reference drawing.

A drawing method is selected for the model: wire frame model, shaded model or a visualized model.

• When adding a wire frame model, an auxiliary positioning function is selected, if necessary.
• When adding a shaded or a visualized model, its size can be changed before selection a position.

Add the 3D model as a drawing to the 2D window as follows:

1. Activate the drawing window.
2. Select General Object Functions > Insert 3D View to 2D Window.
3. Click in the 3D window where the model is.
4. Select the reference point, according to which the model is to be positioned in the 2D drawing.
5. Select the drawing method.
6. When adding a wire frame model, select an auxiliary positioning function, if necessary.
7. Change the size of a shaded/visualized model, if necessary.
8. Select the location of the view.
