Rotating with the Cursor Keys

With this function, you can rotate an OpenGL shaded model. As the default, rotation occurs in an axonometric projection, which is indicated by the letter 'A' in the prompt displayed on the status bar. You can switch the rotation to a perspective projection by pressing Shift+cursor key. The prompt changes to the letter 'P'.

  1. Select Projection > Rotate from the menu bar.
  2. Select the speed of movement with the number keys 1 (minimum) to 7 (maximum).

You can also change the speed during rotation.

  3. Rotate the model by pressing the cursor keys:
  4. To stop rotating, press the Enter key.
  5. After stopping, you can restart the rotation.
  6. Quit the rotation by pressing the Esc key.

If the model disappears from the working window, restore it by selecting a projection from the Projection menu.
