Activating Layers When Opening a Drawing

When you open a drawing in the working window, you can control how drawing layers are activated. The objects on an active layer are displayed in the drawing.

• If you want to activate those layers in the drawing that were active when the drawing was saved, select View> Layers from the menu bar and add a check mark next to Keep layer visibility saved in drawing.
• If you want to prevent the activation of layers saved in the drawing and select the active layers yourself, select View> Layers from the menu bar and clear the check mark next to Keep layer visibility saved in drawing.

  After this, open the drawing and select the layers to be displayed in the drawing with Layers> Select Layer from List. When you open the next drawing in the working window, the same layers are activated in the drawing.
