Default Color Fill and Hatch for a Room
When you are using the Vertex BD Architectural or Pro product,
you can add a color fill or a hatch to the room. The default color
fill and hatch are defined in the ROOMS database. You can edit the
default values as follows:
- Select System Settings > Building Component
Libraries > Rooms.
- Edit the default values in the Rooms database view:
- Move the cursor on the desired row.
- Do either of the following:
- Click the Color button and select the color in a dialog
box. RGB
Color
- Click the Hatch Properties button and select the hatch
in the Hatch Geometric Properties dialog box.
- Select Room hatch as the property set. The other fields
will be refreshed according to the property set.
- Select the hatch from the Type list.
- Edit the other properties, if necessary.
- To select the hatch color, click the Color button.
RGB Color
- Select the properties Layer, Pen and
Scale.
- Confirm by clicking OK.
- Confirm by clicking OK.
Note
- The color fill is added to layer 56.
- The changes you have made will take effect in the room
definitions you will make from now on.
- System Settings is only available on the toolbar if you
are a system administrator.
- If the ROOMS database determines a pen color to be used, select
the color in the Color Selection dialog box. See Pen Color.
