Adding Pork Chops

You can add eave returns to the eaves of a gable roof.

1. Activate the model window.
2. Select Roofs > Soffits > Add Eave Return Macro.
3. Define the eave return properties in the dialog box.

   • Width (W)
   • Depth (D)

   

4. Specify the corner at which the eave returns are to be positioned.

Note

• The surfaces of the eave return and the eaves trim will be merged in the elevation drawing if you have selected the Merge Surfaces property in the settings of the Elevations.vxm elevation drawing generation model, see Editing a Drawing Generation Model. Merging the surfaces requires that the eave return be connected to the eaves trim.
