Converting surfaces into volumes

After the sketch roof has been edited as desired, the surface of the sketch roof is converted into a roof volume. After this, the roof becomes a packed basic volume that can be managed with regular roof functions. Sketching functions, on the other hand, are no longer available. A sketch roof is converted into a roof volume such that the sketch surface becomes the top surface of the basic volume.

1. Select Roofs > Roof Generator > Convert Surfaces to Roof.
2. If there are several overlapping sketch roofs in a building, you can select the roofs one by one, or all at once. Select one of the following from the contextual toolbar:
   • One roof
   • All roofs
3. Select the sketch roof to be converted.
