Trimming to the Intersection Points

These functions can be used to create a miter joint between two profiles. In case the ends of the profiles to be joined have differing dimensions, you can join the profiles at either the outer or inner corner of the joint. The program will stretch or shorten both profiles so that the joint can be created.

1. Select either of the following:
   • Beams, Columns > Connections > Connect Profile Ends (at outer corner)
   • Beams, Columns > Connections > Connect Profile Ends (at inner corner)
2. Select the end of the first profile to be joined.
3. Select the end of the second profile to be joined.
