Additional material properties

The additional material properties area defined in a database of their own. The properties determine the components of the additional material. The database determines the material codes, the rules for calculating the material quantity and the units. The data of the additional material added to the drawing-model pair of a project is collected in the material register in accordance with what is determined in the material properties.

Example 1: Additional lineal material

Railing

Material Code Quantity Unit
BOTTOM_BAR L m
BALUSTER 2 pcs
END_PIECE (L/1000)*5 pcs
TOP_BAR L m

If 3 m of the above railing material is added to the floor plan drawing, the program will collect in the material register 3 m of the top bar, 3 m of the bottom bar, two end pieces and 15 balusters.

Example 2: Additional area material

Swimming pool

Material Code Quantity Unit
POOL_BOTTOM A
DRAIN 1 pcs

If the above swimming pool material is added to the floor plan drawing on an area sized 4 m x 4 m, the program will collect in the material register 16 m² of pool bottom and one drain.

Note
