Collect Materials by Type

You can use this function to collect materials from all objects of the selected object type.

1. Select Material Reports > Collect by Type.
2. Select the object types in the Selection Filter dialog box. All object types used in the active drawing or model are collected in the list in the dialog box. Select the object types from the list in one of the following ways:
   • Select one object type by clicking the left mouse button.
   • Select several object types by holding down the Ctrl key and clicking the left mouse button.
   • Select all object types on the list by clicking the All button or by pressing Ctrl+A.
3. Confirm by clicking OK.

   The Collected Materials database view opens.

4. Save the material database by closing the window with the OK button.
