Collecting Extra Parameters of Building Components

You can define customer-specific additional parameters for building components. The parameters will be included in the collected materials. You can define the additional parameters according to component types. Define the additional parameters with the macro_bom_param keyword in the BDSX keyword group:

macro_bom_paramTYPE NUMBER PARAM DESCR

The keyword options are as follows:

• TYPE is the type of a building component.
• NUMBER is the number of the parameter to which the material data is collected in the material database (DBCOLLECT). In the material database, the parameter is called PARAMn where n = NUMBER.
• PARAM is the name of the parameter collected from a part.
• DESCR is a description of the parameter, displayed in the DESCRn field of the material database.
