Create Building Component Assembly
You can combine two or several building components to form an
assembly. For example, you can use an assembly to combine a group
of windows, when you want to add single frame boards around the
entire group. Also furniture can be combined to form a building
component assembly.
- Select
Building Components > Advanced > Create
Building Component Assembly.
- Select the components.
- Select Confirm.
Edit a Building Component Assembly
You can edit a building component assembly by removing or adding
components.
- Select
Building Components > Advanced > Create
Building Component Assembly.
- Click any component in the assembly.
- Select the components to be removed from the assembly or to be
added to the assembly.
- Select Confirm.
Note
- While adding opening trims the programs treats openings near
each other automatically as an assembly, and it is not necessary to
build an assembly of the openings. The maximum distance between
openings forming an assembly is defined in the BDSX keyword group
with the keyword opng_comb_dist. If the distance between the
openings is greater than the maximum distance, the assembly can be
formed using the function
Building Components > Advanced > Create
Building Component Assembly.
- An assembly automatically formed of openings near each other
while adding opening trims, must also be dismounted with this
function.
