Save a Structure to the Library

You can save a parametrical structure, or edited structure selected from the structure library, in the structure library under a new name. After this, you can select the structure from the library when adding a horizontal structure.

1. Select Floors and Ceilings > Save Structure to Library.
2. Select the area.
3. Type a name for the structure in a text box.
4. Type the structure information in a database view. Select FLOOR, CEILING or ROOF as the type of the structure. Type a description for the structure in the text field.

Note

• The 3D representation of the structure must be a packed basic volume.

• The program will save the changes made in a user-specific database. If the database is not found in the Custom folder, it is first copied from the System folder. Confirm the copying by clicking Yes in the message box.
