Connect to Another Edge
You can connect the edges of multi-shaped planes or structural
layers of a plane. You can combine edges in a ceiling with planes
inclined in different directions, for example.
Connect to Another Edge
The edges are trimmed with a vertical joint such that the top
surfaces of the structures or structural layers are connected at
the joint.
- Select the structure.
- If necessary, select the layer in the model.
- Move the cursor near the square grip point of the edge.
- Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
- Select Connect to Another Edge.
- If necessary, select the function for editing parameters.

- Select the structure.
- If necessary, select the layer.
- Click the square grip point on the edge of the structure or
layer.
Connect to Front or Back Plane
The first selected structure is trimmed to the front or back
surface of the other structure.
- Select the structure.
- If necessary, select the layer in the model.
- Move the cursor near the square grip point of the edge.
- Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
- Select either of the following:
- Connect to Front Plane
- Connect to Back Plane
- If necessary, select the function for editing parameters.

- Select the structure.
- If necessary, select the layer.
- Select Confirm.
Note
- The formed connection can be removed with the function Disconnect Edge.
- You can choose different types of connections, when you use the
Trim Area Edges function.
