Defining And Updating Building Height Data
With this function, height data of a building is defined.
Existing information can be changed and the changes updated to the
height macros added to elevation, section and perspective drawings.
Changes are updated automatically in the height macros added to the
floor plan drawing of the building.
- Select Drawings > Heights > Building Height Data. The Building Height Data database
view opens.
- Select the way for defining the base height from the Height
system list.
- RELATIVE. The height is measured in relation to the
building origin.
- ABSOLUTE. The height is measured in relation to the sea
level. Type the value of the base height of the building in the
absolute height system in the Absolute height field.
Height macros added to the drawings receive a
height value according to the selected system.
- Type the value of the basic height of the building in the
relative height system in the Relative height field.
- Type the value of the base height of the building in the
absolute height system in the Absolute height field.
- Select the number of decimals in height marks from the
Digits list.
- 1: +2.3
- 2: +2.26
- 3: +2.255
- 4: +2.2550
- Select the precision of the height labels from the
Precision list.
- 1: +2.2550
- 10: +2.2600
- 100: +2.3000
- 1000: +2.0000
- If necessary, select the Symbols tab and define the
drawing and model files of the height macro.
- Close the database view by clicking OK. You will receive the
prompt: "Update height macros of view drawings?"
- Do either of the following:
- Select No.
- Select Yes and select the drawings to be updated.
