Editing detail books

There can be details in a project whose geometry you do not wish to add to the project's 2D drawing, but whose detail sheets need to be included in the project's documents. You can collect details like these in detail books, which you can use to generate detail sheets. Detail books are project-specific. If there are frequently used standard details, you can collect these as a detail book in a standard project, so the detail book is available in all projects created based on the standard project. You can create an archived detail book of the details in the custom folder detail archives, which you can copy to a project if needed.

1. Select Details > Edit Detail Books.
2. Edit the detail books in the dialog box.
