Rounding lines

With this function, rounding is added to the intersection point of two lines or their extensions. The lines to be rounded are polylines that have been modeled on the same layer, but they do not have to intersect. Desired line properties can be selected for the section of the lines to be rounded, if necessary.

The rounding radius is typed in a text box before selecting the lines to be rounded.

1. Select Line Trimming > Add Round.
2. Type the rounding value from the keyboard.
3. Change line properties, if necessary.
4. Select the lines to be rounded.

Note

• The lines to be rounded cannot be border lines of a single surface or a surface of a volume. This function can only be used with straight polylines that have been modeled on the same layer.
