Adding a Symbol to a Drawing

This function can be used to add a symbol to a drawing. First select the folder in the browser, then click the appropriate symbol in the image menu, containing thumbnails of the symbols. Before pointing a position for a symbol, you can select auxiliary functions to rotate a symbol or select a new position point, for example. The symbol will be added to the drawing as a group.

A symbol added from the library is local. It is not associated with the original library symbol, which means that changes made to the original library symbol will not effect the symbol in the drawing.

1. Select 3D Modeling > Read Symbol.
2. Select a folder.
3. Double-click the thumbnail of a symbol.
4. Click the location of the symbol in the drawing.
