Deleting Dimension Associativity

You can disable the associativity of a single dimension by clicking the button Associativity of dimension in the auxiliary menu when adding the dimension.

• Dimension is associative.

• Dimension is not associative.

You can completely disable the associative dimensions by deselecting the Settings > Associative Dimensions > Associativity of Dimensions. When you disable associative dimensions, all associative dimensions are detached from their targets when the drawing is opened and saved. When you add new dimensions, they will not be attached to their targets.

If you want to remove the associativity from a single dimension already added to the drawing, delete the dimension and add it again.

• When you start the program, the Settings > Associative Dimensions > Associativity of Dimensions is selected by default, if the keyword associative_dimensions= 1 has been set in the DRAFT keyword group. You can disable the setting by default by setting the keyword value to associative_dimensions= 0.
