Tangential Ruler Arc-Point

The cursor can be set to pass by a circle at a certain distance and be tangent to it. The ruler can be set as active during drawing.

Position the ruler by clicking a reference point through which the ruler passes. After this, click the point of the arc to which the ruler will be tangent. After you have set the ruler, click the first and second point of the line. After you have clicked the second point, the ruler is automatically switched off.

Instead of clicking the position of the ruler, you can click the middle mouse button, after which you can click the point of the arc to which the ruler will be tangent to. If you set the ruler in the middle of drawing a line, the ruler is automatically set to pass through the last clicked point. The ruler is active until one point has been clicked.

  1. Select Set tangential ruler: arc-point.
  2. If you select the ruler function before drawing a line, do either of the following:
  3. Select an arc (B).
