Properties of Reference Drawings

You can change the visibility of a reference drawing in the drawing. The properties of all reference drawings added to the drawing are displayed in a dialog box, the functions of which you can use to modify the properties.

1. Do either of the following:
   • Drawing - Open Reference Drawings and select the context-sensitive Properties function.
   • Select Reference Drawings> Properties.
2. Set the properties of a reference drawing using functions of the dialog box.
   • You can view the list of reference drawings in reverse order by clicking any of the following column headers: Description, Reference Drawing or Layer.
   • You can toggle the visibility of a reference drawing either visible or invisible.
   • Click the Description field on the desired row to enter a new Description text to the reference drawing.
   • Click the Layer field on the desired row to select a different layer for the reference drawing from a list.
3. Select OK.

Visibility

You can toggle the visibility of a reference drawing by clicking its checkbox in the first column of the dialog box.

If you change the visibility of a reference drawing, it will be immediately updated in the drawing.

Description

You can edit the description of a reference drawing by clicking the Description column.

Reference Drawing

If you click the Reference Drawing column on a certain row, the Description and Layer fields of that row become active, You can edit the contents of the fields.

Layer

You can select the layer from the list you want to place the reference drawing.

If you place the reference drawing on layer, that has not been set to be visible in the drawing, this function will not automatically set the selected layer as visible. You can make the layer visible on the toolbar function Layers.
