Text Associativity
You can make a drawing text associated with a line, hatch or symbol
selected from the drawing. You can also remove the association from
the text.
Associativity will have the following effects on the text:
- When a text is associated with an element, the deletion of that
element will also delete the associated text.
- If you move an element, associated text will not be moved with
it.
Adding Associativity
- Select a text.
- Select the
function on the contextual toolbar.
- Select either of the following as an associative element:
Changing or Deleting Associativity
- Select a text.
If the text is associated with an element, the 
function is
active.
- Select the function..
- Do either of the following:
- If you want to change the element with which the text is
associated, select the new element from the drawing.
- Delete the associativity by clicking an empty spot in the
drawing.
Note
- When the software is in basic mode and you select a text from a
drawing, you can see with which element the selected text is
associative. The associative element is highlighted with a color,
if color marking is enabled.
