Add a bay window roof using an eave line

1. Select Roofs > Define Eave Line.
2. Select Trusses from the contextual toolbar. The Roof Parameters dialog box opens.
3. Enter the following parameters in the dialog box:
   • Overhang: 300
   • Over the Wall Height: 250

   Leave the default values of the other parameters as they are.

4. Click the Calculate button next to the Eave Height field.
5. Confirm by clicking OK.
6. Select the outer surface lines (A), (B) and (C) of the bay window's side walls. For example, select the midpoint of a line, when the cursor looks like in the figure. The cursor is outside the wall.
7. Zoom close to the bay window and select the inner surface line of the bay window wall (D). The cursor is inside the wall.

   

8. Select Confirm. The program add a closed dot-dash line around the selected walls.
