Select the wall points
Click the points of the foundation wall inside the wall chain displayed in the reference drawing, without snapping to the points in the reference drawing. Later, you will fix the foundation wall to the wall in the reference drawing by using a geometric constraint.
- With the Alt key pressed down, click the point 1 approximately as shown in the figure. The Alt key prevents the cursor from snapping to the lines and points in the reference drawing.
- Lock the cursor in the y axis direction by pressing the I key, and click the point 2 with the Alt key pressed down.
- Lock the cursor in the x axis direction by pressing the U key, and click the point 3 with the Alt key pressed down.
- Click the points 4, 5 and 6 with the cursor locked in the y and x axis directions in turns. Press down the Alt key while clicking the points.
