View the constraints of a wall

  1. Select the wall connected to the origin (A).
  2. Right-click to open the contextual menu.
  3. Select Constraints. The Constraints of Object dialog box opens. Following constraints have been automatically created for the wall:
    • Corner connection - Two corner joints to the connected walls. Also side joints (T connections) are automatically created when you add walls.
    • Position fixed - The constraint is created for the walls (A) and (B) connected to the origin. The constraint was created since you used the wall center line as the reference line (CENTER), and started adding walls from the origin point. Other walls do not have this constraint. When you later edit the floor plan by defining Dimension constraints, the walls (A) and (B) will always remain in place while the other walls move.
    • Direction fixed - The constraint was created since you locked the cursor to horizontal/vertical direction.
    • Height levels - The top edge of the wall is automatically constrained to the height level CEILING-X and the locating height to the level FLOOR-X.
  4. Click Cancel to close the dialog box.
