Add a dimension between two objects
- Select
Dimensions >
Dimensions. - Select the
Settings function from
the auxiliary menu. The Dimensioning Settings dialog box
opens. - Select 5 Slash from the Start and End lists under Dimension end markers.
- Select 3 Close to dimension point from the Start and End lists under Extension lines.
- Select the Misc tab in the dialog box.
- Select the
Automatic centering of dimension text (smart dimensioning)
check box. - Confirm by clicking OK.
- Use the function
Automatic direction, which
is selected by default in the auxiliary menu.
